Provide expert and strategic legal advice in multiple areas of business/ corporate law related to the organisation’s legal rights and obligations, including: legal counselling in business-related areas such as corporate law, tax, transactions/anti trust, compliance, real estate, commercial litigation, employment/labour, corporate governance, M&A.
Anticipate and identify legal issues in order to develop legal strategies and solutions.
Provide legal opinions on a wide variety of legal issues.
Review, negotiation and drafting of contracts with private, national and international customers, partners, consortium, suppliers, sub-suppliers in order to enable the business and mitigate the risks.
Structure and draft of legal & integrity corporate policies, procedures and other documents related to a variety of commercial and operational matters.
Analysis and interpretation of proposed and existing laws and regulations.
Propose and discuss strategy and follow up with outside counsels regarding litigation, arbitration, mediation, administrative proceedings or other disputes with courts and government agencies.
Provide training to the company’s employees regarding legal matters and other subjects.
Develop, maintain and revise policies, procedures and guidelines for the general operation of data protection & data privacy according to GDPR and Brazilian legislation (LGPD).
Provide legal support regarding sales agents.
Develop and manage Legal & Integrity annual budget and perform periodic costs and KPI’s.
Overseeing and monitoring the implementation of Compliance/Integrity Program, periodically revising the Program.
Developing and coordinating multifaceted integrity training and risk management/prevention.
Internal investigations.
