Yesudas has 20 years of broad range of Legal, Corporate Secretarial, Statutory & Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management experience with companies like Accenture, Tesco, Atos/Siemens, Kotak Mahindra Bank, etc. Yesu has performed advisory roles in Board & Corporate Governance areas, and is experienced in a wide range of Legal matters, Mergers & Acquisitions, Managing Technology Contracts, Regulatory & Statutory Compliances, Compliance Risk Management, Labour and Employment Laws, Investigations, Litigations, etc.
Yesu has held the position of Strategic Advisor to the Leadership & Business Teams in various geographies (India, Middle East, Asia, UK) for matters of Legal, Compliance & Risk Management, Corporate Secretarial & Corporate Governance, Investigations, etc. He uses his extensive knowledge/experience to develop practical solutions for business/stakeholders. He headed the Legal, Compliance and Secretarial Functions and was also a Member of the Compliance Committee and Risk Management Committee. Possesses thorough experience in the functioning of the Boards and Board Committees in IT, Banking & Retail Sectors. As Compliance Head had set up Compliance and Legal processes and worked in challenging positions having diverse legal, corporate secretarial & compliance responsibilities. Is a skilled professional with expertise in decision making in unclear environment and unprecedented & contentious circumstances. Has mentored, counselled and trained many Legal, Compliance and Business teams and is known for leading with empathy and emotional intelligence.
