I am a snr legal counsel with more than 25 years extensive experience in commercial, corporate and civil law, both in the private practice as well as in-house counsel. My in-house practice consists of assisting the bank and clients with all facets of their funding and associated legal requirements, including negotiation, and settling of complex transactions and drafting legal agreements. As in-house counsel at Rand Merchant Bank my focus is on the investment banking financial services as well as various other general legal matters. I have advised numerous public listed and private companies on their transactions and managed several company portfolios. The bulk of my work has involved advising the bank as well as local and international clients of the bank in relation to funding (snr, jnr and mezz requirements), across several sectors of the commercial spectrum, project and renewable energy finance, resources, mergers, acquisitions, restructuring and disposals.
