As the Regional Compliance Officer Americas at MANN+HUMMEL, a global leader in filtration solutions, I oversee the compliance matters for South and North America, ensuring the alignment of the company’s operations with the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and sustainability. I also support the global ESG strategy and initiatives, helping the company to achieve its environmental, social, and governance goals and commitments.
With an executive MBA in Business Law from Fundação Getulio Vargas and a bachelor’s degree in Law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas, I have a solid academic foundation and a passion for learning and teaching. I am a visiting professor at PUC Campinas, where I share my knowledge and experience in corporate governance, risks, compliance, ethics, and data protection with MBA and extension students. I also write and publish articles on various topics related to my field, such as ESG due diligence, corporate governance and human rights, compliance in public administration, and ethical contractual issues.
My core competencies include data protection law, ESG, labour disputes, contract negotiation and management, legal advice and due diligence, compliance program implementation and training, and internal investigation. I have acquired these skills through my previous roles as a legal & compliance counsel at other multinational companies, where I handled complex and diverse legal and compliance challenges, participated in M&A operations, and worked with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams. I am always eager to contribute to the success and growth of my organisation and my profession.
