In 2001, I transitioned from a highly decorated career with the Singapore Police Force to pursue my passion for delivering business-savvy legal solutions to organisations and stakeholders.
As a corporate legal counsel and strategic business partner, I bring diverse expertise in legal advisory, risk mitigation, and exposure minimisation strategies to public, regional, and global enterprises.
My industry focus spans real estate, upstream oil & gas, energy, technology, telecommunications, payments/fintech, medical devices, healthcare, and semiconductors.
Currently, I serve as the APAC Head of Legal for a regional headquarters while also leading the legal functions of two other corporations within a globally recognised Japanese conglomerate operating across a diversified portfolio, including cameras, photo imaging, medical imaging devices, and semiconductors.
I manage legal and compliance teams across Singapore and the APAC region, overseeing more than 20 lawyers in multiple countries. My role emphasises innovative negotiations, conflict resolution, and deal structuring while building strong relationships with strategic partners and fostering consensus across all organisational levels.
