Over 18+ years of enriching experience as an in-house counsel within the Legal department of Swiss and US-based multi national company. I have been considered as business enabler, solution provider, balancing risks with businesses and collaborates across the different department to get desired results. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to contribute to the company’s profitability by focusing on
recoveries as well as resolving complex litigations. In addition, present responsibility focuses on compliances, implementing DPDP, driving initiatives to building culture of ethics, protecting IP and negotiating critical. Present role requires closely working and assisting in new business compliance, ensuring that we adhere to regulatory requirements as we expand into new horizons/operations.
In order to foster culture of compliance within our organisation, I have been driving various initiatives, awareness campaigns, speak up culture and customised training for field employees.
In first year of leadership as General Counsel and Compliance officer, Schindler India Legal Team received internal global award for Best Legal Team 2024. I am glad to be recognised as one of the finest legal counsels in various forums. I am grateful for the support of my team, and our collective efforts have led to significant accomplishments. As a leader, I remain committed to mentoring young talent and creating bright professionals for the future.
In addition to my professional commitments, I actively engage in industry conferences and seminars, sharing insights and learning from peers to stay at the forefront of legal and compliance advancements. This continuous learning mindset ensures that our legal strategies remain dynamic and effective in addressing emerging challenges.
