I am bringing over 20 years of progressive legal and business development experience gained in international companies, esp. a China-based energy company with operations in EMEA. Before I did build solid corporate & M&A foundations with famous professional services firms.

-anticipating & influencing the implementation of new EU legislation.
Representative contributions include:
-building the legal structure for the company’s EMEA operations for rapid growth from 4 employees to about 350 and record sales, establishing a sound base to operate business units in other geographic areas,
-leading the legal defence in the Solar Antidumping case, and
-established an industry lobbying association which successfully influenced EU member states to stop the Solar Antidumping case and assisting in drafting settlement (“Undertaking”) between EU Commission and Chinese government,
-preparing a Chinese company for compliance with EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive, the Forced Labour Ban Regulation and its implementation in the Solar sector by serving as a Board Member of the Solar Stewardship Initiative and as a participant in the Solar Power Europe Transparency Working Group,
-expert in Silicon tracing.
My extensive corporate law background also includes:
-business unit startups,
-M&A due diligence and post merger integration,
-product commercialization and venture financing rounds,
-VC investments, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, equity matters, contract negotiations and management (including a USD 300 million contract), IP, data protection, litigation and tax matters.
