I bring over 23 years of experience in legal, compliance, and governance, holding multiple qualifications as a lawyer, company secretary and post graduate in management and finance.
As Regional General Counsel for Greater India and Pacific region, my role involves making informed decisions in a complex and uncertain environment with multiple options. I exercise nuanced judgment continuously, addressing diverse legal, compliance, and business challenges and opportunities.
Throughout my career, I have tackled diverse and challenging assignments, including M&A, corporate restructuring, setting up and closing plants, and advising on complex, multi-jurisdictional sales deals. I have also worked on global and regional projects, developed and delivered innovative training programs, and led high-stakes litigation, including criminal cases. Additionally, I have built and led new teams to achieve organisational strategic priorities, collaborated with multiple stakeholders across geographies, and advised top management and boards of directors, including independent directors. My work has taken me to various countries in Europe, Asia Pacific, China, and the Middle East, where I have successfully navigated diverse cultures and working styles.
