Nicolás Rozo Villarraga is a Colombian attorney with extensive expertise in corporate, commercial, and business law. He is licensed to practice in both Colombia and the State of New York, USA.
Currently, Nicolás serves as General Counsel at UBITS Learning Solutions, where he leads the Legal and Compliance functions across Latin America, playing a strategic role in the company’s regional operations and regulatory alignment.
His legal career spans both the private and public sectors. He previously served as Senior Counsel at Grupo Semana, one of Colombia’s leading media conglomerates, and practiced law at Valbuena Abogados S.A.S., a well-regarded corporate law firm. In the public sphere, Nicolás has acted as legal advisor to several key Colombian government agencies, including the Superintendence of Ports and Transportation, INVIMA, and the National Protection Unit (UNP), contributing to regulatory and institutional development initiatives.
Nicolás holds a Law degree from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Colombia), complemented by academic studies at Universidad Pontificia Comillas (Spain). He earned his LL.M. in Business Law from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), a degree officially recognised in Colombia as a Master’s in Commercial Law.
