Group Legal Counsel
Petromin Corporation
Saudi Arabia
“Networking isn’t just about career moves – it’s about learning, sharing, and being part of a forward-thinking legal and business community.”
Mohammad Manauar is the Group Legal Counsel at Petromin Corporation, one of Saudi Arabia’s leading multinational companies with a footprint in over 40 countries across Central Asia, Southeast Asia, and the MENA region. Every day, he brings not just legal expertise, but heart and dedication to a fast-moving global business.
Originally from a small town in Bihar, India, Manauar is a first-generation graduate and lawyer – a journey he pursued with hard work, resilience, and big dreams. After earning his law degree from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), where he specialised in commercial law and served as Senior Proctorial Monitor (the highest student leadership role on campus), he began building an international legal career.
Before joining Petromin, he worked with leading organizations like Qatar Satellite Company, Al-Khalifa Law Firm (Qatar), SMS Group GmbH (India), and Infosys (India), gaining valuable experience across India, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. Along the way, he became known not just for his strong technical skills in corporate law, dispute resolution, and risk management – but for his reliability, kindness, and the way he goes the extra mile for colleagues and clients alike.
At Petromin, Manauar works closely with the Group Chief Legal Officer and leadership teams, helping navigate complex legal challenges while always keeping the bigger business picture in mind. His co-workers often describe him as the team’s go-to person: humble, dependable, and someone who never loses his smile even on the busiest days.
When he’s not deep in contracts or advising the business, Manauar loves to cook, travel, explore historical places, and binge Bollywood movies (he’s proudly “super desi” at heart). He believes every person has a story worth listening to and is always up for a good conversation over coffee.
Passionate about giving back, he regularly volunteers for community service projects and offers pro bono support to migrant workers in need. For Manauar, success means not just growing professionally, but also staying grounded, connected, and making a difference wherever possible.
