– Legal lead in negotiating more than 25 aircraft operating leases with high profile aircraft leasing companies such as Aercap, Air Lease Corporation, Aircastle, CIT, Avolon, Al-Jazeera Leasing etc.
– Played the role of lessor’s legal counsel in sub-leasing widebody aircraft in SriLankan Airlines’ fleet to Pakistan International Airlines, Oman Air and Hi Fly.
– Member of the negotiating team of the Airline which settled claims totalling more than USD 200 million with Aercap, Thales Avionics Inc., and Rolls Royce plc on account of premature termination of four (4) A350-900 aircraft leases.
– Legal lead in the merger of SriLankan Airlines Limited and Mihin Lanka Private Limited, both of which owned by the Government of Sri Lanka.
– Prevented the attempt by PA Consulting to liquidate SriLankan Airlines Limited through timely and strategic actions with zero media attention.
