Kendi is an experienced in-house legal counsel currently working in the financial services sector. She has multi-jurisdictional in-house experience, having previously worked in the oil and gas, & technology sectors, respectively, in Sub-Sahara Africa.
She possesses demonstrated experience in handling a multiple of legal functions including the provision of corporate and legal advice, corporate governance, contract lifecycle management, litigation management, drafting of legal documents (transactional, regulatory, general), and intellectual property portfolio management, labor law and anti trust matters.
She is driven by a desire to protect the interests of the company and its employees by supporting the underlying business objectives and employing creative thinking and a flexible legal approach to enable businesses to achieve their objectives while mitigating risks.
