As the General Counsel at SHOFCO, a non-profit that transforms urban slums and communities across Kenya, I oversee the legal and compliance functions of the organisation, ensuring that we operate in alignment with the operative law, our mission, vision, values, and policies. I have over 15 years of experience as a licensed attorney and Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, specialising in non-profit, corporate, commercial, and intellectual property law. I hold an MBA from Grand Valley State University, Michigan, where I received multiple awards for my academic excellence and leadership. I am also a Member of the Law Society of Kenya, the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators UK (Kenya Branch), the Institute of Directors Kenya, and a registered trademark and patent agent. I am passionate about using my legal expertise and skills to support social impact and innovation in Africa.
