In-house Counsel
Arch Holdings Limited
Ghana
I am a transactional lawyer and In-house Counsel at Arch Holdings Limited, advising across the Group’s upstream, midstream and infrastructure businesses (NewGas Cylinder Bottling Limited; Quantum Terminal Group; Sage Distribution Limited; Sage Trading Limited; Cardinal Petroleum Limited; Arch Services Limited). I lead a centralised legal function that drafts, negotiates and implements commercial, procurement, financing and project documentation, delivers a group-wide contract playbook and manages regulatory compliance across energy and infrastructure operations.
My work sits at the intersection of commercial pragmatism and legal rigour: I conduct pre-transaction diligence, structure bankable risk allocation, design security and lender documentation for financings, and integrate ESG and HSE obligations into commercial contracts. I build legal systems and capacity, from contract-management KPIs to subsidiary training, that reduce negotiation friction, improve audit readiness and protect operational continuity.
My core strengths align closely with PPP and infrastructure advisory: rigorous legal research and comparative analysis of statutory and institutional frameworks, drafting clear policy – and transaction – level documents, designing contract equilibrium mechanisms and bespoke indemnity/insurance constructs, and preparing bankable contractual packages for project and corporate financings. I have led pre-transaction due diligence, coordinated multidisciplinary teams and external advisors, and translated legal complexity into concise, presentation-ready outputs for senior stakeholders and financiers. I also design knowledge products and capacity-building interventions, contract templates, playbooks, KPI frameworks and training modules, that strengthen procurement governance and improve project readiness.
