I have 20 years of commercial law and strategic leadership experience gained within a variety of sectors (including FMCG, manufacturing and automotive services) at companies such as Warburtons, CPL Industries, 2 Sisters Food Group, Manheim and Northern Gas Networks. As General Counsel and Company Secretary for Warburtons, I lead the legal, company secretarial and insurance and risk functions to enable the business to deliver on its strategic and business transformation objectives.

Before joining Warburtons, I served as General Counsel for CPL Industries, where I led the legal function on the company’s M&A programme and managed its disputes and regulatory investigations.

Select achievements from my career include:

• Guided CPL Industries through a major Competition and Markets Authority investigation
• Led the legal team on a £820 million refinancing programme for 2 Sisters Food Group
• Played a leading role in the acquisition of Vion’s £1 billion turnover protein business
• Delivered double digit efficiency savings in cost of legal and company secretarial support
