After more than 17 years’ experience as in-house counsel in a general corporate, commercial and compliance role for a wide range of businesses and investments and 5 years experience in private practice as a mainstream corporate/M&A and capital markets lawyer, I have developed a reputation for business acumen, strong project management and giving both no-nonsense and clear legal and business advice to my business partners, whilst playing an internal “gatekeeper” role to assess all risks in the business and protect business assets and its reputation.
More than half of my career has been spent overseas and/or in a multi-cultural and Japanese-English bilingual role, which has allowed me gain unique expertise in managing complex legal matters, diverse stakeholders and teams across cultures and borders.
Education is a life-long process and I have undertaken my Executive MBA to complement my legal qualification as a Solicitor (England & Wales), with a strong interest in Fintech and Digital Assets, Legaltech, and disruptive innovations
