As a Chief Legal Officer (General Counsel), I bring with me over 16 years of experience in providing full-range legal support for IT and FinTech companies, as well as for businesses offering crypto-asset, payment, and investment services. Throughout my career, I have built a reputation as a proficient leader, strategic visionary, and trusted legal and compliance advisor to business owners and C-suite executives.

Through effective project management and a focus on continuous improvement, I drive transformation, optimise costs and time, enhance profitability, simplify processes, and mitigate legal risks.

With analytical thinking and business mindset, I ensure that the legal and compliance team’s resources are rationally allocated, target the issues that matter most and support the company’s strategy.

Some of my key accomplishments are as follows:

Successfully arranged obtaining licences for crypto-asset and payment services.
Duly organised establishment of companies in different jurisdictions (including EU) as well as tax-efficient corporate restructuring.
Led drafting, review and negotiation of hundreds of commercial contracts and dozens of streamlining templates.
Built effective teams of legal professionals to provide full-scale legal services to a cryptocurrency exchange and a PSP.
Drafted dozens of regulations for internal workflows/processes.
Drafted comprehensive state regulations for virtual assets services in Belarus.
Ensured protection of IP rights and trade secrecy via registration of trademarks and putting in place due policies & procedures.
Invented and implemented legal concepts of tokenised currencies and tokenised exchange-traded assets. This allowed to save the sister company business with core value assets.
Invented and implemented margin trading in virtual assets via deliverable transactions. This substantially enhanced profits.
