Over the past 20+ years, I have worked across both litigation and in-house roles, which has given me a balanced perspective on legal risk and business realities. My experience spans complex disputes, regulatory frameworks, commercial contracting, transaction advisory, and enterprise compliance across highly regulated and fast-evolving sectors.

A key part of my journey has been the transition from a purely legal mindset to a solution-oriented approach. I focus on creating clarity in situations where the law may not always provide a direct answer, helping businesses move forward while staying within well-defined and defensible risk boundaries.

My work is centred around building structured legal systems that bring predictability, reduce friction, and support informed decision-making. I strongly believe that legal functions add the most value when they are integrated early into business thinking and are able to anticipate challenges before they fully emerge.

I also place significant emphasis on aligning legal strategy with business priorities, ensuring that risk is understood, managed, and owned appropriately, while enabling sustainable growth.

Outside of work, I find balance in engaging with children and contributing to community welfare, including caring for animals, which brings perspective to a demanding professional role.
