My career has centred on helping global financial institutions navigate complex, fast-moving regulatory landscapes – advising on everything from AI and digital assets to data privacy, cybersecurity, cross-border API/SaaS integrations, payments regulation (PSD2, Open Banking, E-Money), outsourcing and commercial contracts.
I’m passionate about legal design and using technology (old, new and everything in between) to make lawyering simpler, smarter and more client-centric.

– Scaled global legal operations: rapidly scaled UBS’s EMEA emerging tech legal team to support demand, embedding strategic support for AI, digital assets, data and cybersecurity.
– Enhanced speed and service: boosted delivery speed by 25% and improved consistency by streamlining legal processes for tech and operations teams.
Launched a legal innovation hub: created UBS’s first digital assets legal centre of excellence, hiring and upskilling the team to support tokenisation and digital cash initiatives.
– Enabled regulatory readiness: led legal implementation for critical regulations including the EU AI Act, MiCA and DORA, ensuring board-level awareness and timely compliance.
– Pioneered legal training: partnered with a magic circle firm to deliver a digital assets training programme, upskilling 150+ lawyers and business stakeholders globally.
– Championed legal design: embedded legal design principles into tech and operations advice, making legal guidance more accessible and engaging.
– Advised through transformation: supported data and reputational risk management during the UBS/Credit Suisse merger, enabling compliant data flows and operational resilience.
