I serve as sole counsel for the EMEA region and as group DPO for a company of approx. 700 employees, with HQ in USA and global operations. I report to the GC for the legal function and to the COO for the privacy function, both are based in the USA. I work remotely in the Warsaw metropolitan area.
I am responsible for the drafting and legal review of commercial agreements in the EMEA and APAC regions, both on the sale and purchase side. I am working with other legal matters, related to HR, Intellectual Property and corporate governance. I am managing the global personal data protection compliance programme. I perform product counselling, in particular with respect to legal aspects of personal data protection and security. I participate in the company wide and legal department projects establishing and enhancing internal processes and policies, such as AI and ESG related initiatives or contract lifecycle management system selection and implementation.
